Judy Chapman Art Biography

Raised in Wyoming and accustomed to the open prairies and life in a small town, Judy always found herself caught up in drawing.  Judy received her BA in Art Education from the University of Northern Colorado in 1979 and has 10 years’ experience teaching high school art at Niobrara County High School in her home town of Lusk, Wyoming.

Today she finds her passion in drawing sacred geometry patterns and creating sacred geometry constructions using the basic tools of the geometer; the compass, pencil and straightedge.  Learning about sacred geometry was how she began to make the connection of herself to the quantum field.  Being able to create both simple and complex constructions opened a new door and a new focus for her.

For Judy it was about detail and precision as well as color and interpretation when drawing and coloring her constructions. Each piece represents a concept or idea within the realm of sacred geometry.  Finished works are completed in colored pencil, water colors or artist’s markers with some mixed media pieces.  Her works can be purchased as prints, with or without frames as well as prints on canvas are available.  Judy’s Sacred Geometry art was recently shown at the Art, Wine and Flowers event in Gordon’s Gardens, Wellspring Plaza and Triad Art Gallery in Yelm, Washington.  Judy teaches Sacred Geometry classes, follows her imagination with new geometrical creations and grows her own garden.
